I’m Dr. Seema Kutty, and I want you to know—you don’t have to walk this path alone.
Many people hesitate to seek support due to fear, self-doubt, or the stigma that still surrounds mental health. You may wonder if your struggles are “serious enough” or feel unsure about reaching out. Please know this: you deserve care, understanding, and relief. You do not have to suffer in silence. My practice is grounded in strict ethical standards of confidentiality and guided by my philosophy of Nurture and Challenge. This means I will meet you with deep empathy and compassion, while also gently challenging you to step into your strengths and live in alignment with your true potential. I will stand beside you, holding hope for you—especially in moments when it feels difficult to hold it for yourself.
Working with couples is both my expertise and my passion. I help partners improve communication, understand recurring patterns of conflict, and break cycles that keep relationships stuck. When support is sought at the right time, meaningful and lasting change is truly possible.
I also work extensively with individuals in both outpatient and residential mental health settings. My experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, PTSD (related to abuse, accidents, and other traumatic experiences), and substance use concerns. I am certified in trauma-focused therapies including NET and EMDR, and I am trained in multiple evidence-based approaches such as DBT, CBT, Narrative, Experiential, Solution-Focused Therapy, Brainspotting, and more.
I hold a Doctorate and two Master’s degrees in Psychology from universities in the United States and bring nearly 20 years of hands-on experience working with individuals, couples, and families with diverse needs and life challenges.
